In this project, I explored 3D scanning techniques to challenge the traditional clothing pipeline. My goal was to bypass the technical hurdles of Marvelous Designer, such as time consuming pattern creation and simulation issues, as well as the extensive cleanup and detailing passes in ZBrush. The result are realistic folds, including memory wrinkles and details that even show the fabric structure of the denim jeans.
